Wesley Conway is a wildlife biologist and field supervisor in the Bloomington, Indiana office. He started with WEST in 2013 as a seasonal field technician and then crew leader performing bat presence/absence surveys before staying on full-time in 2017. Wesley received his B.S. in Biology with a Minor in Animal Behavior from Indiana University in 2013 and a Graduate Certificate in GIS from the University of Denver in 2016.
His five years of consulting experience includes presence/absence bat surveys, acoustic monitoring, mist-netting, roost and foraging telemetry, habitat assessments/mapping, wetlands delineation, post-construction monitoring coordination, avian use surveys, and raptor nest surveys. Wesley introduced data collection software that eliminated paper datasheets and data entry from the summer bat surveys. He also manages the equipment inventory and performs some of the GIS tasks at the Bloomington office.
