Terri Harvey received a B.S. in Biology/Natural Science-Math from the University of Wyoming. She joined WEST in 2009 as a field technician, gaining experience in a multitude of survey types that included wildlife population and use pattern estimates, biomonitoring, pre- and post-construction studies, and aerial surveys. She has served as a crew lead on several projects, training incoming technicians, developing instructional documents, and overseeing data collection. She moved into the position of field supervisor in 2017.
Terri has also worked on oil and gas pipeline pre-construction surveys for the northern long-eared bat. She has conducted black-tailed prairie dog mapping and population density estimates, black-footed ferret surveys, both ground-based and aerial raptor nest surveys, and a variety of other avian surveys.
