Michaela Bartosh received a B.S. in Forestry from Texas A&M University in 2018. Michaela worked for the Texas A&M Forest Service and Natural Resources Conservation Service while pursuing her degree. Michaela’s work for the Texas A&M Forest Service included locating and mapping oak wilt tree disease in Texas counties utilizing ArcGIS tools. In her role with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, she worked closely with private landowners to develop, implement, maintain, and revise conservation plans in western South Dakota. Michaela strives to be a natural resources leader and advocates the importance of conservation education.
Michaela has been with WEST since January of 2019 and has been involved in many facets of the company. Her WEST experience includes field data collection for a variety of wildlife projects, American Wind Wildlife Institute data management, drafting of technical documents, and internal website design for research groups. As Proposal Coordinator, Michaela will support client-facing teams in proposal preparation, execution, and delivery. She will assist the business development team in the ongoing improvement of WEST’s proposal-related processes.
