Julie Dickey is the WEST program assistant for the Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Collaborative Program (MRGESCP) in New Mexico. From the Albuquerque office, she works to support MRGESCP project activities and projects. Julie has a Master of Community and Regional Planning with an emphasis on natural resource and environmental planning from the University of New Mexico (UNM) and a B.S. in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University with a focus on program administration and community development.
Prior to joining WEST, Julie managed environmental permitting and compliance projects related to water resources, wastewater treatment, transportation, housing, utilities, and resource exploration and extraction. She also taught environmental studies and biology courses at UNM and has worked with several federal and state land management agencies managing resources and conducting resource surveys in various capacities. Julie also has experience directing agency, tribal, and stakeholder collaboration and public involvement efforts for environmental projects.
