Cecily Foo joined WEST as a Field Coordinator in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Cecily holds a M.Sc. in biology from Texas Christian University and a B.A. in biology from Whitman College. Her graduate thesis research investigated bat mortality at wind farms; her undergraduate research focused on song change in territorial grassland birds.
Cecily has previous environmental consulting experience in Alaska and the Great Plains with mining, oil and gas, and wind energy projects. Her survey experience includes aerial and ground-based raptor surveys, avian point counts, and pre- and post- construction monitoring at wind energy sites.
