Adam Kreger joined WEST in 2014 as a Biologist. He received his B.A. in Biology from Grinnell College in 2006. After a several years as a wilderness guide and environmental educator, Adam completed a Master of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara with a specialization in conservation planning and a focus on strategic environmental communications.
With WEST, Adam focuses on pre- and post-construction studies that evaluate and mitigate risks to wildlife from land development projects. He has prepared site characterization studies, bird and bat conservation plans, eagle conservation plans, white papers, geospatial analyses, and wildlife survey reports for projects throughout the country. Adam also coordinates and manages field efforts for several types of aerial and ground-based surveys.
