Ray Tupling started at WEST in November 2015 as a Data Technician, then moved to regular staff as a Data Analyst, after receiving his Master’s degree. Ray received his B.S. in Economics from Washington State University (2014) with a minor in Sustainable Development. He received his M.S. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wyoming (2016). His thesis created a framework to determine how mitigation policies affect the economic efficiency and ecological effectiveness of land use outcomes through simulations in R. Currently, his focus at WEST is on wind-energy projects.
