Natalie Flinn joined WEST in 2016 as a Field Coordinator. She received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Villanova University in Philadelphia and was selected as a U.S. EPA Greater Research Opportunities for Undergraduates (GRO-U) Fellow. Since joining WEST, Natalie assists with technical report writing and field coordination for various Texas and Oklahoma projects. She is a native Spanish speaker and also supports WEST’s international projects in Latin and South America.
Prior to joining WEST, Natalie worked as a biologist for CH2M for two years. Her primary areas of expertise include threatened and endangered species surveys, wetland delineation and permitting, habitat mapping, vegetation sampling, and ecological risk assessments. She has worked in multiple sectors, including mining, linear transportation, and pipelines. She also has experience biomonitoring construction projects, implementing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and using GIS as an analysis tool.
