Karl DuBridge started with WEST in 2013 as a Biological Technician working on a post-construction monitoring project for an operational wind power facility. The following year Karl became crew lead to a similar project. Since 2014 he lead field crews on wind facilities while doing avian and bat surveys across the Eastern U.S. After 4 years of crew leading Karl started in the Bloomington, IN WEST office as a full-time Biologist and Field Supervisor. His specialties lie in the organization and communications between technicians in the field and branch office personnel for the best project outcome.
After receiving an Associates degree at Grand Rapids Community College, Karl completed a Bachelors of Science in Biology at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI. Originally from Michigan, the vast forests of the “Great Lakes State” is where he will always call home. He enjoys wildlife photography, birding, motorcycling, hunting, fishing, and camping, along with a myriad of other activities outdoors, though he mostly enjoys playing video games at home.
