Julie Dickey is the WEST Program Assistant for the Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Collaborative Program (MRGESCP) in New Mexico. From the Albuquerque office, she works to support MRGESCP project activities and projects. Julie has a Master’s in Community and Regional Planning with emphasis on natural resource and environmental planning from the University of New Mexico (UNM), and a B.S. in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University where she focused on program administration and community development.
Prior to joining WEST, Julie managed environmental permitting and compliance projects related to water resources, wastewater treatment, transportation, housing, utilities, and resource exploration and extraction. She also taught environmental studies and biology courses at UNM, and has worked with several federal and state land management agencies managing resources and conducting resource surveys in various capacities. Julie also has experience directing agency, tribal, and stakeholder collaboration as well as public involvement efforts for environmental projects.
