John Lombardi joined WEST in 2016 as a Biometrician. John has experience in data analysis, mathematics, and programming. John received his B.S. in Mathematics from UNC-Asheville in 2013, and his M.S. in Environmental Monitoring and Modeling in Fall 2015 from SUNY-ESF in Syracuse, NY. His masters’ thesis was on the analysis of sampling strategies for area estimation of land-use and land-use change. John has experience with the analysis and modeling of water quality data, experimental design and analysis, and programming in both R and C++. At WEST, John has worked on multiple post-construction monitoring projects for wind power, Brownian bridge movement models, and the development of avian risk models.
