Emily Zink joined WEST as a Field Coordinator for Texas office in 2016. Emily holds a Masters of Environmental Science from Yale University, and a B.A. in Political Ecology from Sarah Lawrence College. Her interest in sustainable development is informed by her background in environmental policy analysis and wildlife research across Africa, Southeast Asia, and North and South America. Her field research has focused on the impact infrastructure and agricultural development has on various large mammal species, with a particular interest in examining interdisciplinary strategies to mitigate human-wildlife conflict. Emily has most recently worked for an international environmental consulting firm specializing in environmental regulatory compliance for the oil and gas sector.
