The WEST team includes professional scientists and statisticians that understand wind energy development and operations, and have strong relationships with the local and regional staff within US Fish and Wildlife (USFWS), and other federal agencies (e.g.BLM), as well as state and local agencies.
WEST is exceptionally qualified to help its clients navigate the USFWS Land Based Wind Energy Guidelines (WEG), State guidelines, and USFWS Eagle Conservation Plan guidance. We have developed risk-based approaches for advising clients on study needs that comply with the guidelines and satisfy client and project specific needs while remaining cost-effective.
