Kimberly Bay has worked with WEST since 2001, first as Data Technician, then after receiving her Masters, as a Biometrician. She received her B.S. in Mathematics/Statistics in 2000 and her M.S. in Statistics in 2003 from the University of Wyoming. She currently works primarily on the coordination of the data and reports for wind-energy projects. This task includes data and database management, quality assurance and quality control of the data, analysis of the data, and finally compiling the results for the reports. Kim has recently broadened her horizons to work on a data management project that presented the results of a large Web-based survey that wasn't involved with wind-energy. She has also worked on several RSF projects. She has experience with most statistical computer packages including, SAS, R, SPLUS, and SPSS, the database application ACCESS, and the GIS application ARCVIEW.
Kimberly and her husband are both Wyoming natives and live in Cheyenne with their three small children that keep them very busy.
