Andrew Merrill - Statistician [Resume ]

Andy Merrill joined WEST in October 2009 as a Statistician in the Cheyenne office. Andy received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Before coming to work for WEST he worked as a Statistical Consultant for Micro-Bio Systems. He has also worked as a UMEP Project Manager for Utah State University, was a Mathematics Instructor for Bridgerland Applied Technology College and was also a Mathematics Educator for the Weber School District in South Weber Utah.

His specialty areas include random forests, classification and regression trees, non-parametric regression methods, variable importance measures, and multivariate data analysis. Andy's work for WEST will include live bird analysis, bat analysis, R-Coding, and other statistical analysis.
